Draft — pending review

This Terms of Service was drafted under JustComply's no-attorney-review process (Claude drafts, Harry's approval is the clearance — no outside counsel review is a precondition) and has not been approved yet. Nothing on this page is final, and none of it should be relied on until this notice is removed.

1. What JustComply is

JustComply is a website compliance scanning tool. Today it runs real, automated URL scans for two categories — accessibility (WCAG 2.1/2.2, via axe-core) and security (client-observable exposures like mixed content and insecure forms) — and surfaces the results as scores, violation lists, and flagged issues. Other scan categories are planned but not yet live; we won't claim a category runs a real scan until it does.

Separately from the URL scanner, JustComply also offers a sales script review and a sales call checklist — a different kind of tool (you paste in or answer against real rules, rather than scanning a URL) that checks against real, citation-backed federal rules for telemarketing (TCPA), the National Do-Not-Call registry, and commercial email (CAN-SPAM). See Sales Scripts and Sales Calls.

JustComply is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not certify or guarantee legal compliance with any law or regulation — including ADA or WCAG compliance. See the full disclaimer in Section 8; it applies to every result JustComply produces.

2. Accounts

You can use the free scanner without an account. Some features — saving a verified site, the installable monitoring banner, scan history — require creating a free account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account, are responsible for activity under your account, and must keep your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Pricing today

JustComply has a Free tier (the scanner, a verified account, and the installable monitoring banner) and two paid tiers we are still rolling out: Standard ($99/month) and our premium tier ($2,500/month). Standard and the premium tier are not self-serve yet — there is no checkout, no card form, and no payment processor wired into the product. If you're moved to a paid tier, our team assigns it to your account manually once billing is set up; nothing charges automatically, and no charge happens without your active confirmation first.

The demo-call discount: completing a demo call with our team can qualify your account for $50 off your first month of Standard. This is recorded on our end when the call happens — there is no self-serve way to claim it, and we will never ask you to confirm the call yourself. It can be applied once per account. Applying it records your account as pending payment; it does not charge a card, because no card-charging capability exists in the product yet.

See our pricing page for what's actually live and purchasable today, and refund and coupon terms for more on the discount above. If and when self-serve billing goes live, these terms will be updated first.

4. Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Intellectual property

JustComply and its scan engine, scoring methodology, and product design belong to us. Scan results generated from your own submitted URLs belong to you — you're free to use, share, or publish your own reports.

7. Service availability

JustComply is provided on an “as available” basis. Automated scanning depends on third-party infrastructure (the site being scanned, hosting and network providers, browser automation tooling) that JustComply doesn't control, and scans can fail or be temporarily unavailable for reasons outside our control. We'll work to keep the service reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7a. What monitoring is (and isn't)

Monitoring, plainly: this runs scheduled, periodic checks of your site — re-scans on the cadence you choose (weekly at the fastest). It is not a promise of continuous, uninterrupted observation of your site, and it does not guarantee your site's uptime or availability, or that every issue will be caught between scans. Findings shown anywhere in your account reflect the most recently completed scan, not a live, moment-to-moment view of your site.

8. Disclaimer — read this

JustComply is an automated compliance-support tool. It surfaces potential issues in the categories it covers today (accessibility and security URL scanning, plus script and call review for telemarketing/CAN-SPAM rules) and flags things a human should review. It does not provide legal advice, does not represent or guarantee that your site or business complies with any law or regulation, and does not certify or guarantee any outcome — including avoiding fines, complaints, lawsuits, or regulatory action. Automated checks catch many, but not all, issues in the areas they cover. You are solely responsible for your own legal compliance. For anything with real legal or financial exposure, consult a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

This automated scan checks for common WCAG 2.1/2.2 failures using axe-core. It reduces risk and catches many accessibility issues, but it does not test everything WCAG requires (e.g. keyboard-only navigation flows, screen-reader usability, reading order, or meaningful alt text). No automated tool can certify legal ADA or WCAG compliance — that requires manual testing by a qualified auditor. Treat this report as a starting point, not a compliance guarantee.

axe-core's own research indicates automated testing can reliably detect roughly 30-50% of WCAG success criteria. The remainder require human judgment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustComply and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages resulting from a compliance issue JustComply's automated checks did not catch. Because no account has been billed yet (see Section 3 — paid tiers exist but aren't self-serve or billed today), there is no payment amount to anchor a specific cap to; once billing begins, this section will be updated with a specific cap (standard SaaS convention: the amount you paid in the prior 12 months).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify account holders directly.
